▪ The music industry is a connecting body for any community. It brings people of like-minds together, to meet without judgement, without focus on separations and differences, to dance and be free and joyous in synchrony. The Solar Circuit Support Series strives to keep that connection alive, while fundraising to support charitable organizations who are executing the important work our planet needs.
▪ Episode 02 will be a brand new SC set, with new debuts and tons of improv, in which 100% of donations will go to The New Teacher Project (TNTP), a non-profit organization supporting and advocating for our educators. TNTP provides support at every level, from individual classrooms to district-wide efforts. With COVID-19 changing the education landscape in unprecedented ways, understanding and responding to stakeholders’ needs is more important than ever. TNTP's COVID-19 Planning Survey is designed to help district and charter network leaders gather feedback from stakeholders as the school year comes to an end so they can make strategic decisions this summer and fall. TNTP has already gathered more than 375,000 survey responses from 2,350 schools through our Instructional Culture Insight Survey, the COVID-19 Planning Survey will surface actionable input from stakeholders on critical topics like students’ and families’ basic needs, distance learning, and planning for what students will need when they return to school. Our educators must be heard, and their safety and health must be prioritized.
